The primary purpose of the Bus Service Division is:

To provide safe, reliable, convenient, comfortable, effective, efficient and fully integrated public transport operations.
To best meet the needs of passengers by improving levels of service and cost.

This will be done in a fashion which supports Council’s strategies for economic and social development, whilst being environmentally and economically sustainable.
In order to respond effectively to the diversity of the needs, which characterizes its target market, the Bus Service aims to build and maintain public confidence in it as a socially responsible, reliable and efficient transport partner by:

Improving the quality and availability of its service.
Actively promoting collaboration with the community at large, Government and private sector to exploit transport opportunities.”
