Strategic Executive: Ms JM Joseph
The Human Resources Department is divided into five divisions, headed by a Manager, these are:
- Human Resources Development
- Labour Relations
- Staffing and Remuneration
- Occupational Health, Safety and Wellness
- Organisational Performance Management (pending investigation)
This department is responsible for the attraction, development and retention of the right human capital in the Organisation.
Its key performance areas include the following:
- Organisation Development
- Talent Management
- Occupational Health Safety and Wellness
The maintenance of harmonious employer employee relations and internal communication is critical to ensure a good balance of Human Resources Architecture. This contributes to the attainment of the HR Strategic Objectives in particular and the overall strategic intent of the City.
The department is furthermore responsible for the facilitation of the overall strategic planning, performance management and the compilation of the City’s five year business plan.
